Privacy policy
This policy explains what information Elfateh for Business Development ("Elfateh", "we") handles when you visit elfateh.site or use the Elfateh mobile app, and how we use it. The website sections come first, then the sections for the app.
What we collect
This website has no user accounts, no tracking cookies and no advertising or analytics scripts.
When you press the submit button, the demo request form sends your entries securely to our own business system (ERP), hosted on our server, so our team can follow up. The site then opens WhatsApp or your email app with a ready-made copy of your request; we receive that message only if you send it.
A demo request can include your name, company, phone number, number of users and any note you add.
Like any website, our hosting provider records standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested). These logs are used only to run and protect the site.
How we use your information
We use the details you send us only to reply to you, arrange a demo and prepare a proposal for your company.
We do not sell or rent your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Who else handles it
Cloudflare delivers and protects this website. It processes technical data such as your IP address and browser details to block attacks and abuse, under its own privacy policy.
Messages you send through WhatsApp or email are also processed by those services under their own privacy terms.
We do not share your information with anyone else, unless the law requires it.
Elfateh mobile app: what it handles
The Elfateh app for Android (package site.elfateh.mobile) is how employees of companies that use our systems sign in to their work portal. Accounts are created by your employer; the app has no public sign-up.
To sign in, the app sends your username or email and password to our servers (hub.elfateh.site and your company's own site on elfateh.site). So that you stay signed in, it also saves them on your phone, encrypted with the Android Keystore. They never leave your phone except to sign you in.
The work data you see and enter in the app (orders, invoices, tasks and so on) is your company's data. It is stored in your company's system on our servers, and we process it on your company's behalf under our agreement with them.
For notifications, the app registers a notification token, a random installation ID, the app version and your account email with our server.
If the app crashes, it sends a crash report: device model, Android version, app version, a random installation ID and technical details of the error. Crash reports contain no passwords or work data.
The app has no ads and no advertising or analytics tracking, and we do not sell any app data.
Mobile app: device permissions
Camera: used only when you start a feature that needs it, such as scanning a barcode or taking a photo to attach. The app does not take or upload photos by itself; photos you choose to attach (for example customer photos, cheques or expense receipts) are uploaded to your company's system.
Microphone: used only while you record a voice note in the app, for example on a customer interaction. The recording is uploaded to your company's system with that record. The app never listens in the background.
Location: used only when a feature you open asks for it, such as attendance check-in, and then sent to your company's system as part of that feature. On Android 11 and older, Android also requires this permission to find nearby Bluetooth printers; the app does not use it to track you, and never in the background.
Bluetooth: used to find and connect to receipt printers. Nearby device names and addresses stay on your phone.
Notifications: used to show alerts from your company's system. You can turn them off in Android settings.
Files you download in the app are saved to your phone's Downloads folder.
Mobile app: who else handles it
Google Firebase (Firebase Cloud Messaging and Crashlytics) delivers notifications and collects crash reports for us, under Google's privacy policy. Data is encrypted in transit.
Mobile app: signing out and deleting data
Signing out in the app deletes your saved username and password from the phone, removes the phone's notification registration from our server and ends your session. Uninstalling the app also deletes everything it saved on the phone.
To delete your account and its data, ask your company's system administrator, or contact us using the details below.
How long we keep it
We keep your request for as long as needed to serve you and to manage our business relationship. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, in line with Egyptian law, including the Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020. Contact us using the details below.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle data, for example by adding analytics, we will update this page and the date above first.
